Shincha Sae Midori offers yet additional variety in our Shincha product line. The first brew is subtly sweet and offers a mild spicy flavor we never notice in other green teas. The second brew becomes slightly earthy in tone. Our highly skilled supplier has created another masterpiece of taste. Please give it a try.
100 grams (3.5 ounces)
Makes approximately 45 to 50 servings of tea
Add 1 gram of tea per 100 ml of fresh water, or about one tablespoon per potful. Heat the water to 80C (180F) and brew for one minute.
Brew with the same temperature water as the first infusion but for only a few seconds. Please note that the caffeine content of green tea becomes significantly less after the first steeping.
We brewed the teas as described above. It was done for taste test and to write bona fide product descriptions. It is also our way to be honest with you. Our intention is also to give you the best brewing techniques possible – tried and tested. Brewing is important – it makes all the difference in bringing out the best and desired taste. Brewing technique is also important to retain the nutrients in green teas. Yet, we recommend that you experiment with your own techniques to find your most desired taste profile.

- Brew our any variety green tea as you like
- Let the brewed green tea cool to room temperature
- Chill the cooled green tea in the refrigerator/freezer to the desired temperature or just dunk in ice cubes
- A healthy and invigorating refreshment is now yours to enjoy
Our products may be kept in your refrigerator before the package is opened. After opening the package, seal and store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Please do not place an opened package back into your refrigerator.
